And so it begins! The Storyteller by Dave Grohl

While in Europe I had Dave Grohl's book The Storyteller with me. With all the lengthy travel I found myself with more free time than I had originally planned. Once I started the book - I couldn't put it down. For years, I had been wanting to make a documentary based on some of the fun memories from my youth chasing the Foo Fighters around the United States.

Once I finished the book, I was able to draw a lot of parallels to my own life. I had the inspiration. I had the motivation. For some reason I knew the time was "now".

I sat down with my iPad and before the night was over, I had written a 5000 word draft of what would be the first version of the script.
